Mae dychweliad sinematig y ffenomen fyd-eang yn dilyn teulu annwyl y ‘Crawleys’ a'u staff ar drothwy’r 1930au.

Pan fydd y teulu'n wynebu trafferthion ariannol a phan fydd Lady Mary yn canfod ei hun yng nghanol sgandal cyhoeddus a achosir gan ei hysgariad, mae'r aelwyd gyfan yn ymgodymu â bygythiad gwarth cymdeithasol a dyfodol ansicr Downton Abbey.

Railways and the telegraph were the great achievements of the Victorian era, and Abermawr witnessed both their unfulfilled promise and success. Steamships, namely the world’s largest ship, also figure in this story of the Atlantic Telegraph Cable and the proposed western terminus of Brunel’s South Wales Railway in Pembrokeshire.

Y rheilffyrdd a'r telegraff oedd prif ddyfeisiadau oes Fictoria. Mae gydag Abermawr gysylltiad â’r ddau. Yn y stori hon hefyd ceir llong fwyaf y byd, hanes y Cebl Telegraff Traws-Iwerydd a therfynfa orllewinol arfaethedig Brunel ar gyfer Rheilffordd De Cymru yn Sir Benfro.

Mewn Cymeriad Present: The Window From Wales

Take a journey across continents and through time to uncover the powerful story of how a horrific act of murder in 1963 Alabama ignited a quiet flame of compassion in the heart of a Welsh artist.

Rallying together a small nation to offer a symbol of hope — A gesture from Wales that stood against racism and injustice in the darkest of times.

This is the story of John Petts and how the "Window of Wales," a stained-glass gift offered solidarity to the 16th Street Baptist Church.

But over half a century later, we have to ask: how much has really changed from then to now?

This performance is supported by the Arts Council of Wales’ Night Out Scheme.

Cymerwch daith ar draws cyfandiroedd ac drwy amser i ddatgelu’r stori rymus o sut y taniodd gweithred erchyll o lofruddiaeth yn Alabama yn 1963 fflam dawel o dosturi yng nghalon artist o Gymru.

Cododd cenedl fechan at ei gilydd i gynnig symbol o obaith - arwydd o Gymru a safodd yn erbyn hiliaeth ac anghyfiawnder yn y cyfnodau tywyllaf.

Dyma stori John Petts a sut y daeth “Window of Wales,” rhodd o wydr lliw, yn arwydd o undod i "16th Street Baptist Church." Ond dros hanner canrif yn ddiweddarach, rhaid inni ofyn: faint sydd wirioneddol wedi newid rhwng hynny a nawr?

Cefnogir y perfformiad hwn gan Gynllun Noson Allan Cyngor Celfyddydau Cymru.
